Hamid Kazemi has a PhD in Business Management, having graduated in 2010 from Allameh Tabatabaei University in Iran. He received his MA in Financial Management and BA in Business Management from the same university.
In addition, Hamid has a CPHR Designation in BC & The Yukon.
Working in a variety of education systems like universities and scientific research centers for more than 25 years, as a researcher, instructor and CFO, helped him gain experience in HR project management, business intelligence, corporate strategy management, and change management.
As a researcher, he has done conducted research in academia and has published several papers in
distinguished journals. Hamid’s research interests include human resource strategy, and business strategy planning and implementation. He has implemented BSC in many universities and research centers, as a counselor.
As a faculty member, he taught courses on Human Resources Strategies, Organizational Behavior, Leadership, and Corporate Strategies at both the MBA and PhD levels. Furthermore, having industrial experience came to his aid in creating classes to be very practical and efficient.
Hamid’s PhD dissertation is about “Explaining the relationship model of success factors of Information technology application and market management improvement in Small and medium size enterprises”.
For two years, he was the president of the National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP) in Iran, which is related to Ministry of Higher Education and had been Chief Human Resources Officer in the same office for 10 years. Working as a HR manager, has allowed him to grow and develop professionally as well as develop his leadership skills. Hamid established a performance development and career planning process that utilizes both internal and external development opportunities for employees including training sessions, employee relations and customer service.
Moreover, he is adept in program development, process improvement and employee relations.
